A decade of courage and transformation. Circuit Pointe marks 10 years of advocacy, innovation, and service, impacting over 128 communities and advancing women's rights across Southeastern Nigeria.
A Decade of Purpose
In 2025, Circuit Pointe Charity Foundation proudly marked 10 years of transformative impact, advocacy, and service to women, girls, and vulnerable communities across Southeastern Nigeria. Founded in January 2015, Circuit Pointe was born from a bold vision: to challenge harmful cultural practices, advance women's rights, and create safer, more equitable communities where women and girls can thrive.
What began as a small, survivor-led movement has grown into a respected, women-led nonprofit organization working at the intersection of gender equality, human rights, and community-driven social change. From day one, we committed to breaking silence, dismantling harmful norms, and empowering women to lead change within their own communities.
Our Journey So Far
Over the past decade, Circuit Pointe has achieved remarkable milestones:
Worked across 128 communities in Imo and Ebonyi States
Contributed to the abandonment of FGM in the communities through sustained advocacy and dialogue
Reached thousands of women and girls with life-saving information on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), leadership, and protection from violence
Our work has expanded through innovative programming that combines advocacy, awareness, and empowerment. Key initiatives include:
Community sensitization campaigns
Radio programs and documentaries
Survivor empowerment forums
Leadership training for youth and women
Community-based monitoring systems
These approaches have shifted attitudes, strengthened accountability, and ensured communities themselves become custodians of change.
Partnerships That Power Change
Growth over the decade reflects strong partnerships and institutional credibility. Circuit Pointe has successfully implemented projects supported by partners such as:
UN Women (UN Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women & Girls), African Women's Development Fund (AWDF), AmplifyChange Limited, Nigerian Women Trust Fund, French Embassy Fund for Civil Society Organizations, RAES Network, SeedMoney, Anita Borg Institute, The Pollination Project, OneWorld Foundation, US Consulate General Lagos, ViiV Healthcare (Positive Action for Women and Girls), Mannion Daniels, Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS in Nigeria (NEPWHAN) and Catholic CARITAS Foundation of Nigeria/Center for the Elderly, Youth & Family Development (CEYFAD).
These collaborations have enabled us to scale our reach, deepen impact, and contribute to policy conversations at local, national, and regional levels.
Powered by People
Today, Circuit Pointe is driven by a dedicated structure of board members, professional staff, and young volunteers, the majority of whom are women. We remain firmly rooted in community realities while embracing innovation, evidence-driven programming, and youth leadership as key drivers of sustainable change.
Looking Ahead
As we celebrate our 10-year anniversary, we look forward with renewed commitment. The next phase of our journey will focus on:
Transitioning to a platform-based model with digital tools and training systems
Scaling impact and strengthening survivor networks
Advancing inclusive civic participation
Expanding digital and community-based advocacy
Guided by our core values (service, transparency, respect, innovation, volunteerism, and excellence), Circuit Pointe remains steadfast in its mission: to ensure every woman and girl lives free from violence, discrimination, and fear.
